The life of God in this generation is getting very difficult as our young people are faced with great challenges and temptations. The purpose of the Harvesters singles’ corner is to get the singles in our churches to know certain basic truths about their lives that they may not be ware of that could help them be a better youth having impact on their generation as they serve God.  

The youth of today are faced with realities that many may not understand as a result, they are misunderstood by their own parents and elders. This ministry is basically involved in telling the truth and teaching the youth on how to preserve their integrity and still be a successful youth having an impact on their peer groups.

Many youth are confused in their choice of marriage and even in their choice of jobs or career. All this is due to the fact that they have been classified and not really look after concerning these matters. We believe this can be change as we work with youth to see the importance of their youthfulness as the scripture described it. That their youthfulness should not be despised by anyone and that is only possible if the youth knows what he/she wants in their life, based on their knowledge and teaching of the word of God. 

This generation needs to come to the realisation that the future is great and promising but only those who are willing to face the challenge and give up their desire for temporal pleasure can better prepare for the future that is awaiting them.

This is why the church needs to know how to reach out to these young people to have them prepare for the challenges of this computer generation.

We have discovered recently that there are more young people in churches than elderly people.

They are the power of today’s church and if we are not careful we can loose out on our children and the future cannot be as hopeful as we expect it to be. But God is in control and will lead us.

Harvesters youth or singles’ corner is there to teach on a regular basis biblical principles that will help young people:

• Know their values system
• Know the importance of having good character
• The importance of keeping their moral integrity till marriage
• Building up a standard and quality intellectual understanding
• Know the power and value of work in this generation for the next generation.

The Lord knowing this told Paul that youths should not allow themselves to be overlooked by others because they are young.

This advice was for all youths who are willing to lay down their lives for the cost of Christ.

Today’s youth can make a good use of the knowledge that is available to them to prepare for the challenges if they have a good understanding of who they are.

One of the problems today is the fact that many youths don’t know who they are and so they try to be like others.

And as long as you have not appreciated yourself, you may not know what value you have in you. This is one of the major concentrations of this singles corner’s teaching. Look up for a sound biblical teaching on a regular basis. We be issuing some basic counsel on single life and other topics such as how to know the will of God for your life partner, how to identify who is really in love and how you can live in a world of sin and moral degradation without being corrupted by your environment.  

We can win our world for Christ as we learn of him.
