The vision
of the Latter-Rain Harvest Ministries was
received on
January 22, 1992
in Deux Plateau,
Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire
during a time of
prayer. Preparation for this vision was
made for a period of six years. The vision
came as a mandate from the Lord to reap
the harvest of souls till Christ comes,
through church planting in Africa among
unreached people groups starting with
Francophone nations and then to the Arab
World. In 1994 the Lord told us to
prepare to move to Abidjan
to begin the work to
which He has called us. We obeyed the
voice of Lord after years of preparation
and my family moved in April 1996 to
Abidjan where we were to launch this
ministry. We took a year to prepare for
the opening of the church through which
the other branches would be birthed. We
officially started the activities of this
ministry on February 15, 1998
with about 8 adults
and four children in EPP
Latrille in (Angré), Abidjan,
after several months of evangelism in
Angré from house to house.
We presently have
Churches called “Harvesters Victory
Center” in Angré Djomi
and other parts of the country with
growing fellowships of English & French
speaking members. Though the ministry had
a lot of challenges for a place of worship
but the Lord has been faithful and
continues to show Himself mighty on behalf
of His people. He provided us a place
where we are presently building. This
provision came after Moving about five
times before finding a stable
place.
The
Harvesters
Victory
Center
Church
is presently involved in a building
project with a seating capacity of about
five hundred persons (normal seating),
though it could have a capacity to seat
about six hundred persons maximum.
